Hailing from North Yorkshire, England, and growing up where brass banding was born, it wasn't long before Glenn picked up his first instrument.
Glenn studied music education and conducting at the popular Colchester Institute School of Music under the leadership of former London Symphony Orchestra trumpeter George Reynolds.
Receiving his LRSM from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Glenn was also the recipient of the Olive Scar Music Prize for being the most outstanding music student during his time in Music College. Over the years he has traveled with various brass bands on tour to countries including France, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Spain, the Netherlands, and Russia.
Glenn is the first Musical Director of the Nebraska Brass Band and comes with a wealth of experience as a conductor, teacher, and tenor horn player. Glenn has a rich background in Salvation Army banding as well as serving as the principal horn of the Essex Police Band. He has performed at Buckingham Palace, The Royal Albert Hall, The Barbican, Westminster Abbey, the BBC’s Broadcasting House, Abbey Road, and many venues across North America.
A former British Police Officer himself and now owner of the Chippy's Group of Companies, Glenn & his family live in Omaha, NE where they enjoy RV’ing and exploring the great Nebraskan outdoors.
